About Us
Austrainer is a WA-based training and course design business, working with a network of training partners to deliver practical, legislatively grounded programs. We build training that leaders can use on shift, at their desk, or in the field — not just theory that stays in a folder.
Our Story
When WA introduced Regulations 55A–55D into the Mines Regulations 2022, we saw supervisors and managers who understood their sites and teams intimately, but who had never been given a structured, legally grounded way to identify and manage psychosocial hazards.
Most available training was either generic mental health awareness with no legislative grounding, or dense legal compliance content with no practical application. We built Operational Resilience to close that gap — a single course that covers the law, the frameworks, and the on-the-job tools, for both mining and civil construction leaders and general business managers.
Every course seat includes ongoing access to HoldPoint, our companion app, so the frameworks from the training day don't get left behind when the course ends.
What We Believe
Every module is built directly from the WHS Act 2020, the Mines Regulations 2022, and the relevant Codes of Practice — not generic wellbeing content with the legislation bolted on.
Case studies and workshops are drawn from real mining, civil, and office scenarios — FIFO rosters, program pressure, workload spikes, and difficult conversations.
Every participant leaves with the HoldPoint app, a personal action plan, and a hazard checklist they can use immediately — not just a certificate.
